Delete your Usiku account

Ask us to delete it

Email [email protected] from the email address you signed in to Usiku with, with the subject “Delete my Usiku account”. We confirm it is your account, delete it, and reply when it is done, within the time Kenya's Data Protection Act sets.

• In the Usiku app (iPhone or Android): Account, then Settings, then Delete account.
• On the website: sign in and open Settings, then Delete my account.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in, so the account can no longer be used.
• Your profile and preferences, including drink preferences and date of birth.
• Your saved venues, ratings, quiz answers and other things you added to your account.

What we keep

Records of paid reservations, bottle orders, payments, refunds and venue payouts are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. They are no longer linked to your account and are not used for anything else. Venue credit left on the account can no longer be used once it is deleted, so spend it or ask us about it first.
